The children were given buckets and spades, windmills, activity packs, ice-creams and a stick of Filey rock. Their lunch was also provided free of charge. It may not have been sunbathing weather, but everyone was entertained throughout the day, whether it was with a traditional Punch and Judy show, or a dance competition on the beach. The older boys even challenged Dean Hoyle and Andy Booth to a game of football.
Everyone at Hillside is extremely grateful for the continued support the Foundation generously provides. This was a fantastic experience for all the children.
Have a look at the photographs to see what we got up to.
